Pos System AS was established in 1988 based on a business idea to create worth in the new world of electronic payment solutions.

During the period of 2000-2001, the company was restructured to focus on its core activity - EFTPOS (Electronic Funds Transfer (at) Point Of Sale).

Since 2004, when we introduced PosPay, a payment solution which we developed for Norwegian merchants, we have had a formidable growth of new customers. Today, we process almost 50 million transactions annually for our merchants. On the Norwegian market, we deliver financial transactions directly to BBS, euroConex, Teller, and Nordea.

Pos System has within the past year entered into contracts with large Nordic customers and is in the forefront within the Nordic countries. In addition to Norway, PosPay is already introduced in Denmark and we are in the process of introducing PosPay, fully integrated, even in Sweden and Finland. We want to deliver payment services in all the Nordic countries tied to an array of Nordic acquirers.

Our goal is to become the best specialized partner to Nordic merchants who desire a complete supplier that can offer a unique combination of payment solutions for physical trade, internet trade and mobile trade - in all of the Nordic countries.
